Needed this size/thread pitch coupling nut for a one-off project. Using it to connect threaded rod to a pneumatic cylinder. Figures the cylinder would have this oddball size on it's actuator rod. You won't find this size/thread pitch nut at the big box stores and many online sellers want to sell you a bag of 100 pieces. Nice to be able to buy only what you need.

There is nothing wrong with this fastener. The problem is that no one explains that the size you order is the outside diameter and I needed it to be 9/16 " Inside diameter. There for it wouldn't fit the thread rod that I have. But we found other uses for this fastener.

First one threaded on easily. Second one froze up while screwing on. I had to chase all the others out with a tap.

The description is very misleading. I wanted 5/8 inside diameter couplers. These are 7/16. Why? I have no idea. The description mentions two diameters. Was one the outside diameter? Why would I care about that?So, be careful what you think you're ordering from these people.

Description is wrong, this is not a 5/8" Coupling. This is a 7/16" Coupling !!! Then why call it a 5/8" Coupling ??NOT WHAT I WANTED !!

Ordered 5/8-18 coupling nut, got 7/16-20 coupling nut, looked a reviews and should have done that first. This outfit is a rip-off
