Replaced starter, shaft, solenoid and bendix on my bike and this Bendix failed very first crank. Don't waste your money.

Bike would crank for a second then disengage and just the starter would spin. Swapped this bendix gear out and it cranks every time now.1983 shovelhead primary maited to 1991 evo.
