The front speakers are the correct size. But the depth of the magnet is larger then the depth of dash opening. This causes the speakers to stay above the mounting level buy a half inch. Also the front door mounting adapter is smaller then the speakers frame. The wiring sent for door speakers is not a direct plug to factory plug.

Didn't see the reviews before I ordered. As stated by many, the dash speakers are too small and don't fit factory bolt holes. The door speakers do not even come close to fitting the included adaptors; they are too big. The wiring connections are wrong. The seller has many reviews and knows this, yet he continues to sell this kit. Very unhappy! Amazon needs to boot this seller.

This upgrade kit was not compatible with my 97 Chevy S10. The 4x6 speakers were too small to fit the truck's brackets and the connectors are not correct for this version of the truck. The round door speakers are workable but the included brackets will not fit behind the door panels - you can use the existing brackets from the truck by drilling new mount holes into these speakers.The company had good customer service when I told them about the incompatibilities, and instructed me to return the R46 speakers and connectors for replacements. I sent these items back (at cost to myself) and never received replacement items. The company informed me a refund was issued through Amazon, but it has been 2 months and that payment has not appeared in any of my accounts.The speakers seem to be decent quality for the price, but only 2 stars for the not being compatible with the 97 S10 as advertised.

The driver’s side dash speaker does not fit! I made it work, but the mounting holes are all wrong. The new speaker is about 3/4†thicker than the oem. Once installed, it works ok. Be prepared to spend time installing it.The door speaker fit well. I had to drill new mounting holes. No big deal.
