Brackets have to modified with pliers (pull off all the tabs). Comes with no screws, have to use your own and drill them in. You'll have a hard time making the bolt fit through this and onto your civic. Connects easily after that. I recommend popping out the tabs on the bottom of your door instead of taking off the whole panel.Sound quality is low. Bass is fine, treble is tinny. Mids sound very muddy. But my factory speakers were all toast so at least these make sound and are cheap.

This is a great set of speakers for the price. I purchased the speakers for my daughter's 2007 Honda Civic. They were a perfect fit and work very well. I would recommend these to anyone looking to replace the factory speakers in a 2007 Honda Civic.

The speakers are similar sounding to stock. What I really didn't like was that the speakers didn't fit right in the holes in the door they were not even close to being flush I had to use 3inch screws to hold the speakers in place. I would definitely not recommend these if someone doesn't have a good drill and a 90° drill bit attachment and long metal screws they're going to have a hard time installing these 1 star.

The adapter rings are very flimsy. One was broken, so I used epoxy to repair it and put a mounting screw on either side of the break. The tabs that retain them in place on the car (2007 Honda Civic in my case) broke off immediately, so I ended up drilling through and using three bolts instead of one to retain the speakers. The sound quality is okay, but not good. Since all four speakers were not working in the car these replacements are better than nothing. But for $100, it will do the job. If you are handy enough to tweak the fit for your car this will do. Don't expect miracles.
