I use these on my boat and beach, though I coated them with West System to make them last for a long time, but they are built well and are comfortable.

Finally... I found a seat for my canoe the supports my lower back and is sturdy. Have a 1976 canoe and this seat fit perfectly..LOVE IT!!!

Nice compliment to my hand built canoe. There is very little, if any finish on the chair. If it gets wet, which is to be expected in a canoe, the cane becomes very loose and sages. The back could stand to be angled back a few degrees for better comfort. As is, the top bar cuts into my back. It is a very attractive piece.
