The material is heavy duty enough to withstand the summertime swatting and stays attached with velcro well. The very small downside is the velcro on bag is placed far down the bag, so you have to scrunch up the top of the bag around the horses tail for it to stick well. It functions fine as is.

I have a few HH products and have been satisfied until this poor excuse for a tail bag., The attachment to secure the tail bag did not even last a week. Disappointed is an understatement. Would not recommend.
