Purchased this for travel on a recent cruise. It worked out great! The overall structure is soft felt that you can fold up when not using. If you’re looking for a hard case this NOT for you. Once the hats were inside (I stacked several) it held its shape and was perfect for not crushing the hats during travel.

I just returned from a cruise and received so many compliments on this that I'm pretty sure I sold at least 10 other women on how wonderful it is! It was very easy to pop onto the top of my carry-on luggage for both at the airport as well as our movement onto and off of the ship. I highly recommend it.

I was a little disappointed when I received this. Maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but when I ordered a "hat box" I was expecting something more box-like.This is constructed from a thick felt material. I needed something that would keep an heirloom cowboy hat protected over a long journey. This definitely does not fit that billet.If you are looking for something to keep dust off a hat, I think this will do very well. If you are looking for something that is sturdy and will protect a hat from outside forces, this is definitely not the answer. It arrived creased and folded and does not hold its own shape, much less protect the shape of a hat.

This product arrived folded up. It is not a sturdy box. It is made out if a felt-like cloth. It is not even as sturdy as cardboard. Using this is a risk that your hat will be crushed in a box that provides no protective structure. The small plastic window is very shiny and hard to see / determine which hat is inside. Way too expensive as well. Thumbs down 👎

I love this hat box. Before knowing this exist, my summer hats are just piles on top of each other in whichever space it fits in my closet. With this, i get it to be more organized. It’s still on top of each other but the hat box protects it from dust, being deformed and it now has it’s own designated place. I love that it has a band inside that holds it in place and will prevent it from shifting during travel. It also comes with a strap for traveling. The box it self is light weight and easy to store. So far it was able to hold 4 hats of various sizes.
