Fits my campaign hat, my hat brim measures over 12 inches. Unpacking it looks like a shower cap. This gets the job done.

This is a good idea for most hats. However have several really large brim high fashion hats and these plastic protections won't fit them. So still looking fir storage that isn't to bulky.

I purchased this hat protector to use on a baseball type hat. The protector was way too big. It would be great for a cowboy hat.

I have to be honest, I have not removed it from it's package, I take it with me if it looks like rain. It seems to ward off rain and only when left behind will I need it so it's working great and I can't find any fault in it. I will update my review if anything changes.

One size does NOT fit all. Would fit a baseball cap and probably a bicycle helmet. Thin, cheap plastic.

The plastic is thick, the elastic band is good. But my gripe is that, although it says it fits all hats, it will pull up on the brim of the hat if it’s not a rock solid brim. So, it bends the brim of my hat upward. My hat has a soft brim. I’m worried it will deform the hat now. The hat cover is not wide enough to leave a soft brim laying down flat.
