I ordered this storage box because of the drawer style system shown. The storage box and drawers consist of non woven material whose sole support depends on covered flat cardboard pieces that fit in the bottom of each drawer. You access the drawers by detaching Velcro pieces on the side of the box, side comes down, exposing the drawers. I could not pull out the drawers as shown in the product pictures, they’re way too flimsy to pull out. Box lid does not have strong support either, I wouldn’t stack anything on this storage box. Cardboard insert pieces for separating the ornaments are poor quality, warped and misshapen. I was hoping this storage box would be a safe place to store some blown glass ornaments, but I would not trust it to protect fragile pieces. Definitely not worth the retail price, this is dollar store quality, disappointing purchase for me.

I wasn't too impressed with this Christmas ornament storage box. It doesn't seem to be very sturdy. The photos seem to imply you can just slide out the trays in the boxes. They just sit on top of each other and there is nothing even separating them tray from each other, other than the bottom of the tray. So if you are storing delicate ornaments this is _not_ what you want to keep them safe. The photos make it look like it is solid and pristine. You can see from the photos I took how it is frumpy and wrinkled. I wasn't impressed. Even with the 44% coupon making it about $16 I wouldn't purchase it again. Also, it is kind of an army green - not really more of a Christmas green.

Bought these on a whim because I really didn't want to wrap all of my ornaments and shove them in a box AGAIN. We LOVE Christmas and our ornaments are super special to us so I wanted a way to store them that felt secure and easy. Although, the individual pieces of this item may not feel very sturdy, when it is all put together, it does. This is a great way to store ornaments.

We have been downsizing our ornament collection over the past few years, and this is the perfect size for our remaining ornaments and tinier decorations.Assembly straightforward (though no instructions included). The slotted cardboard inserts are sturdy, protect well. The photo shows how they overlap (provides extra support if you use all with the 3 inch square openings, but easy to fold back and/or pull out one of the inserts if you want/need longer openings.I was left with 5 ornaments that were all-around wider than 3 inches -- these I packed separately, in a different box. Otherwise, all of our ornaments and a few tiny decorations as well fit nicely into the 3 stackable trays.Zipper is not strong, but does not need to be. The handles make it easy to tuck on and off our closet shelf.
