The parabolic listening devices are great for birding. However, the dishes are plastic similar to acrylic, so they bust when not protected. I purchased these replacement plastic dishes for our 2 parabolic listening devices, and store them all in a hard plastic four-gun-size handgun case. The gun case and foam protects the parabolic devices and has a convenient handle.

It is a nice bell dome and would have had 5 stars if not for being shipped in a bubble bag and arrived cracked in 2 places. So, to the seller, ship in a box, not a cheap, no protection bag.The cracks are not bad enough to make the bell unusable, but one is still bad enough that it will have to be glued to keep from breaking.Outside of that, the bell is a good sound quality for parabolic and I will give this one a try after it is glued to keep the crack from breaking.For the price, this isn't something to fuss over. I will still use it once it is glued. I do like the nature of the plastic, as it is already catching a good sound, just handling it.

the reflectors look good but one came broken. They were in bubble wrap and an envelop which allowed a compression crack in one reflector. I still will be able to use the dish but the shipper should have known a soft envelop would not protect a breakable object.

Love that it's the same as my other that I left behind and would have went back to get it but I'd rather buy another one than spend a total of 8 hours driving and more money than I paid for this in gasoline so yes it's well worth it and the price is amazing.

I like it, it worked as I had intended, although not exactly what it was made to do or was intended. MY ONLY Complaint is that it was shipped in an ENVELOP and arrived with a large CRACK in it. They could have easy shipped such a FRAGILE ITEM in a small BOX with some padding to avoid something like this from happening.
