Haydel's Game Calls, Inc. is family owned and operated, and has been in business for nearly 40 years. The owner, Rod Haydel is a national champion caller and the majority of Haydel's employees are both hunters and callers.

I’ve had half a dozen calls over the years. This call is realistic and gets a response unlike other calls. Great value for the money. I highly recommend this one.

Used it for the first time on a small but chasing a doe. Nothing the first time. But if you let out a long low grunt for 10 seconds… he almost ran me over

After receiving the call, I read all of the information and watched the videos and very quickly realized the call I received sounds nothing like a deer. I have been deer hunting for over 25 years and owned dozens of calls over the years so it was clear to me that I received a defective call that made it through quality control. I contacted the manufacturer, who referred me to their youtube videos and would not acknowledge any problems with the call or offer any help. All they could offer is to tell me to send the call back to Amazon. I hate to leave a review for a small business but I cannot help share this experience.

The main problem I had was that I put a lanyard on it and then it seperated and I lost most of it when the 2 tubes seperated. Of course the part I lost had the reed in it. Fortunately I did find it a couple weeks later. I will habe to rethink how I carryvand use it.

Ok so it sounds ok. The bad thing is is smells like human waste wtf I have been hunting a long time and this is a first I'm scared to keep using it it smells so awfu. It smells like a literal fart

This call is made of cheap plastic that slips apart into multiple peices, not what you want with you in the feild. And it sounds like a kazoo. Also the call its self smells really bad. Smells like a fart, dont know whats up with that, but definitly dont want to put my mouth on it.

Great tones, able to use variable volumes - gets nice and quiet when you want some tending grunts.And inexpensive, compared to many others.
