Haydel's Game Calls, Inc. is family owned and operated, and has been in business for nearly 40 years. The owner, Rod Haydel is a national champion caller and the majority of Haydel's employees are both hunters and callers.

Yep, sounds like a pileated woodpecker and loud. If the turkeys can't hear this then they are deaf or are not around. Would recommend.

Consistently loud! Much better than my previous wood pecker call that died in early Turkey season. I never knew what sound my wooden call wood make each time I blew it. This one is rock solid!

I have been using Hayden calls for many years. They are not flashy but they all work. This woodpecker call is just like the rest. It just sounds like the REAL thing.
