I purchased this ladder at a discount. It turned out to be a good investment. I really like the extra step since my other ladder has one less step. It is also sturdy. I didn't realize how much I needed the extra step until this ladder. As a 5'6" woman, I don't have the reach that a taller person would have. The slots on the ladder make it easier to store tools that you would otherwise have to get down to pick up or place.

This this store has been a lifesaver for all of my home projects inside and out. It's easy to set up and easy to store in my laundry room next to my washer and dryer. I use a stool to clean my living room fan, tall shelves and replacing the batteries in my outdoor cameras. I've even used this to get higher up for washing my RV. I really like how it has a little utility shelf on the top to hold my supplies and tools. It seems to be very sturdy and good quality.

Very sturdy build design, only one star taken because for me it's difficult to reopen after closing it. Could be seen as a good thing though, as it's not going to easily fall back open once stored. I'm 5'1" so having this helps me be able to clean higher areas, I painted my room while using it, and changing light bulbs is so easy. Definitely the size, height wise, was great for me to have.It does lock down tight when open, so that's a great safety feature, you know it's not going to collapse.

This is a great step ladder! It is sturdy but light weight enough that I can take it anywhere I need it to go. I'm a 73 year old lady and it is no problem. The rails are great for stability and it gets used for projects all the time. Love it. Very versatile. Bought a second one for a friend.

Good weight yet not so bulky for old folks to handle. Love the 'bar handle' the length of the ladder that lets you grab onto it as you climb up/down. Stair tread design is excellent/non slip. Shelf/platform allows one to stacks item on it as you use the ladder. Can reach the ceiling to change out the recessed lights. Good product.

This ladder is great. Fully recommend. I’m a bigger person and this ladder is very stable and I feel secure using it. It folds up easily and storages well.

Love this ladder! Comes in so handy to use in the kitchen or linen closet to reach high shelves, good for putting up pictures, and safe for my granddaughter to use with big steps. Good for me also, since I'm getting old. I'm not afraid to climb it. Great to have when you need to clean the walls, or take outside to reach the vent duct for the dryer to unclog it. Birds like to make nest there. Oh, and I don't want to forget that the shelf works great to place a heavy bucket of cleaning water on, or to place small nails and a hammer, so you don't have to go up and down the ladder.

These step ladders are certainly safer. They are wider and have more stability. The steps are not smooth so feet are less likely to slip or slide.Being larger they require more space and are more cumbersome to move. The major reason why I did not grade 5* is that they were very difficult to set up and stiff to use re: opening and closing.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. It arrives mostly assembled, so there is very little to do yourself and in principle its easy and requires little strength. I like the wide treads on the ladder, my old one got progressively narrower as it went up and I never felt safe climbing it. I also like that the treads feel more textured than the old aluminium ones that were slippery when wet. It is very easy to open and close and not too heavy to move around. The rubber feet are also more substantial than on older ladders.When putting it together, I had problems with the tool shelf as the holes were too close to the shelf to insert the long connector piece for the screw without making a big gouge in the shelf. I solved it by reversing the connector screws since the shelf is not weight bearing but it is a design flaw, and if you have to do the same its worth bearing in mind if you are going to put anything heavy on that shelf. It wasn't worth the hassle of replacing it as far as my needs are concerned.The whole thing seems solid and far less flimsy than my last step ladder, definitely a step up!
