Actually, I just received my second heater from the same company. Haven't installed it yet. I'm using the first one in my Well House. So far, it works great and it's economical. There are a few things that I did to make it suite my installation. My exhaust exits thru the wooden wall below the window in the picture. You have to reduce the temperature before you get to the wall. There are several ways to do but I did it this way. Purchased a longer exhaust pipe, coiled in like a spring inside a 5 gallon metal bucket and filled the bucket with sand. It reduced the temp of the down to approximately 75 degrees before exiting the wall. My heater is mounted directly above the bucket of sand. Secondly, I definitely would replace green fuel line that comes with it and add an inline filter. You can buy the kit online. I gave this a five star because it's a great heater for the price. Can't beat it! Another con is that you can't really set the thermostat like the one in your home! So, don't expect it to turn "off and on" as you would think. They need to fix that problem. And, the remote doesn't have a very long range away from the unit but that may not be a problem for you. Overall, it's definitely worth the money. At least for me, it is!

We have 2 of these in our ice houses. They are cheap to operate and will last many hours on a tank of diesel. The great thing about these is unlike propane heaters, these don't put moisture in the air and your ice house will dry out quickly and they get very warm when you need the heat. All I can say is these are great heaters for smaller spaces, but they must be vented. SAFETY FIRST!!

Ordered this heater for an enclosed snowmobile trailer. Once installed it worked great and put out heat well. Unfortunately, after only using it twice (with less than 2 hours run time, received 12-24-23), the third time I went to use it I got an error code E03 for a bad glow plug.On a positive note, Amazon Customer Service was great. They issued a full refund and told me to keep the unit. I reordered a different brand and now I have some spare parts for future use.

There are a plethora of YouTube videos on these diesel heaters, and almost all of them are misleading. I think I had read another review on here stating these heaters are tuned rich from the factory. I can confirm this to be true, although my unit is operating at 9,000ft above sea level. Leaning the mixture was mandatory because of this. 5 minutes on Google brought up an accurate data table to adjust motor rpm and pump pulse width in Hz, for high and low setting. Access to the hidden service menu is required for this. The default password is 1688 from the factory. From there, all sorts of things are adjustable, from fuel ratio to glow plug current. Don't put used motor oil in it unless you also own a centrifuge to clean the stuff, and also plan on changing the fuel ratios again. Used motor oil has very heavy, tar-like compounds in it that take more energy to combust. Clean fuel only. Haven't tried properly cleaned bio diesel yet, although I can confirm jet-a works quite well.

This is the second one I have tried. First brand I got I would never recommend. This heater is well built. I have ran it 3 days straight with no problem. Anyone looking for heat for off grid living I suggest this brand.

This heater works awesome. Plenty of youtube videos on how to just the control panel. Only thing to beware about these is the electromagnetic pump ticks pretty loud and ticks faster the higher you crank up the heater. I have this heater in my enclosed trailer and I have to sleep with earplugs due to the pump noise.

Works very good. Good value. The exhaust hose and fuel hose is very cheap. I upgraded mine with something better from an automotive parts store

Bought this to run in our workshop. (We vented it outside.) Our worshop is insulated and is 24x48'. We set it to run and it keeps our workshop consistently in the mid 60's when we are working. The diesel heater can run all day and only uses about 1/2 a gallon of diesel fuel. We are very happy with this heater.

The air heater arrived well packed and sealed as it was when it left the Hcalory factory facility but immediately on opening the box and unpacking the unit it was apparent that the latches holding the unit together were badly damaged during assembly. I ensured the air heater worked well and didn't return it to Amazon over the cheap latches being damaged as I thought Hcalory would be able to replace them at little or no cost - how wrong I was. When I contacted them and supplied photos, order number, photos of packaging etc. I was accused of having bought a "fake" Hcalory unit. As if it is so much better than all the others on the market, this despite having their name all over the packaging, their handbook, Hcalory stickers on the unit itself and having purchased it from Amazon! After this from Hcalory Customer No Service and Support I had a look on Ebay for latches and bought 4 far superior ones and the unit is now secure and working well. Avoid Hcalory if you ever feel you'll need support from them.
