Don't get me wrong I'm happy with my purchase, it's just that these day's consoles don't turn off so the splitter goes back to the previous hdmi port so you must unplug and plug in again for the thing to work, but it works.

Purchased September 2024 and as of today it no longer works. The setup is the same as when I initially installed/set it up so nothing has changed.It keep auto switching to powered off devices. It does not matter if you use the remote or press the button on the device. So now I have to get up and unplug all hdmi aside from what I'm wanting to use. Complete piece of trash.

Around a year after I got it, it began to make this high pitched, quiet noise that was hard to pick up on. Now, 2.5 years after buying, it is a loud, high pitched whine that sometimes can't be covered up by the audio of whatever I'm watching.

My smart tv only had 2 HDMI ports and it was a pain to switch my HDMI cables from my PS4 to Xbox to my laptop. I was looking for switch to be able to have all my electronics connected to my tv and be able to switch, this did just that. I currently have my PS4, Xbox, Switch, and Laptop all connected to this HDMI switch and it has been working great. I don't keep them on all the time so when I turn my device on that I want to use, the switch automatically switches to what's being used. I did have to use the remote 2 times and while it did work, I did have to get up and get closer to the switch for it to work and ensure that nothing was Infront of it to receive the signal. A minor inconvenience but a very small compliant. Highly recommend this product.

I have two computers that share multiple monitors and a KVM switch to handle more than 1 monitor are pretty expensive. I bought this switch to handle the 2nd monitor and it does the job perfectly. It's not as convenient as it would be on a single KVM but with the remote it's just one more button to push and I don't switch that frequently - my usage tends to be on one PC for a while, then the other, and not much back and forth, so it's well suited to my usage.If you need a basic HDMI switch I would recommend this one.
