I bought this kit to match CC on combustion chambers of a set of Cb performance 42x37.5 044 heads that I unshrouded the valves on. I used water with a small amount of soap to break the surface tension and improve accuracy. I was able to remove 5cc of material from each head and keep the port volume the same. When I had the heads Flycut to reduce the overall port volume I was off by about 1cc in each port ( the same 1cc for every port maintaining the same chamber volume). Likely due to my inexperience in measuring port volume. The kit is quick and easy to use. I would buy again, but likely won’t need to.

I was eventually able to measure CCs in VW heads but some bubble at rubber base (tube slightly out of round?) when filling by pulling back plunger while submerged. Time waste getting that worked out before any squirting into disk over the head. EMPI product.There is no engineering magic here or quality material that will stand up to long term use. Just some cheap plastic and a rubber stopper. The markup on this item is not justified.
