I recently bought a 06 wrx with a blown head gasket and if you have owned a subaru and had to replace a head gasket you know the torque sequence is insane and if not carful you can pull the threads in the block.These studs are so simple and a perfect fit/quality it couldn't have been an easier install. I highly recommend this company plus it's cheaper then other companies with the same outcome and quality.

Don’t know if they are better than the original bolts, but hey, it looks fancier. However, just realized, that I can’t remove the heads from the engine without pulling the engine ever again due to the studs not having enough room to come out. Consider that before you stud your engine.

Surprised it came with thread chaser. good quality. the threads are the same as arp 2000 studs. the shank of the xotic is much beefier then arp2000. i torqued 30-60-90-100 ft lbs. torqued just fine. no spongy feeling

There are Great for builds, where you are within the mechanical limits of a 11mm head stud. Actually, a great product.

These look very nice. I appreciate the thread chaser tap, lubricant and so forth.Do you make a longer version that would be compatible with a EJ253 2.5L SOHC engine? I know it's over kill, but, I like the idea of studs instead of the head bolts. Less chatter during tightening leads to a more consistent gasket compression force. Coming from an old flathead Ford guy, head studs are good.

I ordered this set from Amazon warehouse because it was discounted. I have had good luck in the past, usually its an open box or a returned item. Nope, this set was missing a head stud. I contacted Xotic, and they sent me out a new part asap. Great service, and parts are top notch.

Purchased for subaru ej20/ej25with the tools and documentation, i will come back to write a review after installation.Edit:Feedback from the mechanic: he said they are very very good material and very high quality,Very strong head studs, the mechanic was very happy with installation process and performance
