Great lamp! But it's very, very bright so be sure not to look at the person wearing it! Works amazing in a deep closet or for building a computer. I wouldn't use it around other people however. Its that good!

I use this mostly when I take my dogs out after dark around our large country backyard. This is a great head lamp in many ways. The brightness is great and you can adjust the brightness levels. You could also use these for running before the sunrise or after the sunsets and will be just fine. I give this 4 starts because I would like the distance you can see to be a little more, but perhaps given the price, that may be too much to ask for. But hey, a guy and dream, right?

After reading several reviews of multiple lights I settled on this one. So far I’ve only used it a couple of days and more satisfied than I’d thought I’d ever be about a light. If it holds up I’ll definitely be buying a couple more for at home and fishing. Absolutely love that it’s rechargeable no more batteries for meUPDATE: 10/30/24 , they’re going back after those couple days of usage about 20min in total they no longer work. I attempted to recharge it and the light doesn’t come on showing that it’s charging, tried to use them again, and it will not stay on longer than a min before it shuts off. I’m so disappointed because I really liked this head lamp lightweight and really bright when it worked. So now I’ll try the same style of light just a different brand. For these reasons I would not recommend buying this particular one.UPDATE 11/28/24 ok I’m back to my original loving these highly recommend found out I had a bad outlet Amazon sent me a replacement next day I haven’t returned the original because I planned on getting another one anyway for night fishing HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I read the instructions. it says the light could hurt your eyes; don't look in it. I don't want a light that will hurt the eyes of anyone who approaches me or someone that I'm standing next to. It also says that you need to charge it every 3 months. and, if you don't use it for a year, it won't work anymore. I was planning to put it in a drawer and likely not use it for a year or two. so that doesn't work for me either! I will be returning it.

My husband loves this light. He put it on his baseball hat. It's much better for him that way. Because it doesn't give a glair near your eye. He can't feel his hands or, so the square on the side where you can turn the light on and off and adjust what you want from the light is easy on the right hand side for him.
