The product comes with about 5 different extraction tools. Not all of them are the same size. Lucky for me there were 2 of the size I needed --since the first one flattened after I used the pliers on it. I tried it a second time with another tool and did as the instructions said and "placed the computer upright and press the tube against the table, helping it insert further in". The metal is very flimsy so you have to be careful not to flatten, bend or cut it. As I had to tug a bit to extract, the headphone-jack piece came flying out with my final tug! I am thrilled!Last week I took my computer to a repair place and they just stared at me not knowing how to fix it. It's worth a try!!!

Product is to flimsy and does not work. Cost 1$ to return UPs or free at Staples. Not worth the travel to a staples and most certainly not paying to send them back. Cost more then they are worth and cost to much to return. DO NOT BUY!!

My headphone jack broke inside of my desktop computer. I tried everything and they were STUCK. I didn't have high hopes for this but I can't believe they actually worked!! This saved me a lot of trouble from opening up my computer to try to get the jack out. Plus they were cheap! Seriously, give it a try!

My kids brought a headphone jack in my truck. The dealership was going to charge me $300 to remove it. This saved me $285 dollars
