Im really happy with my recipe card box and included recipe cards. They’re very well-made. The recipe cards are pretty and made of heavy cardstock. The box is a perfect size.

Bought this for a bridal shower - gave each guest a card to bring to the shower with a recipe for the bride. Quality is great, looks lovely and the line spacing is large enough for everyone's handwriting!

I was looking for a recipe-type box to hold some sets of flower essence cards. The cards themselves are 3x5, but they are not printed on particularly heavy cardstock, so I want to laminate them so they don't get worn with repeated handling. Laminating the cards will require a box that holds larger cards. I loved the pattern on this one, which is perfect for the intended use. I was a little hesitant because several people mentioned that the box arrived damaged or that the hinge broke easily.First -- I have to say that considering the way it is shipped, it is not surprising that some arrived damaged. It is shipped inside a padded mailing envelope -- and not one with bubble packing, but one of the paper padded envelopes. Sure enough, the front corner on the one I received was a little flattened. It wasn't serous enough for me to return the box -- the way in which it was flattened looked as though it could be an intentional part of the design. It was only by comparing it with the other corners that I was sure it was damaged.The hinge isn't an actual separate piece, but a tongue of metal punched out from the body of the box that is then crimped around a slot cut into the lid of the box. I can imagine it failing with repeated use, especially if not handled carefully. I'm going to handle it carefully, because otherwise I like it quite a bit. I've already given some thought to how I would prepare it, should the hinge fail. I guess I don't mind dealing with those issues because in other ways the box really works for me. So I'll take my chances with it, and not return it.The recipe cards are very pretty, and even though I won't be using them for recipe, they will work well for documenting flower essence formulas. I turned the dividers backward and will use the blank side of the tabs for my purposes. The dividers are a bit lightweight and I can imagine them getting dog-eared over time

I loved the Recipe tin box with recipe cards and dividers. It is great quality and a great wedding gift for my niece. I added some of my family recipes!
