This Gravy Boat is perfect. Holds plenty of gravy or sauce. Pours easily with no mess and drips. Is really pretty to look at and very sturdy with a good weight to it. I own pretty china gravy boats that are too wide and "plop" instead of pour and have to be handled carefully. I have decorative gravy boats that hold plenty, and are sturdier, but don't work well. I have red glass for Christmas gravy and a Turkey one for Thanksgiving. Both perfect for the events, but again not perfect in performance. But this one is perfect in every way. The plain white color is perfect for a dressed up table or a more casual meal. It has a "sleek" line that I love. Sort of modern looking without the hard edges. This one will be used and passed down for generations.

I ordered this for Thanksgiving dinner and it was perfect. The white color blended with the other dishes. It held a good amount of gravy. I liked that the contents could be reheated in the microwave if needed. This was well worth the price and I will use it for other food items than gravy. The product was very well packaged. It arrived on time, in a sturdy cardboard outer box. The gravy boat itself was nestled in styrofoam in an inner cardboard box. I recommend this product and this company because of the quality of the product and how well it was packed.

I had wanted to keep this gravy boat as I really like the size and shape, elegant lines and plenty of room to hold gravy. Unfortunately, as a few other reviewers have mentioned, I couldn't get past the imperfections in the porcelain. The finish was uneven, I expected better, quality control needs to be "really" improved. If you've ever bought good quality porcelain, such as Pillivuyt from France for example, you know they would never release a product with uneven finish, or marks on the porcelain etc. That's the sort of standard I expect, but a lot of the product made in China lacks that attention to detail and quality. I ended up sending mine back for a refund.
