ordered this for my first pellet grill , notice temp difference from right to left so after reading reviews ordered this , could have made my own i think but this was good material and came fast ... think ill be happy to have ordered .....

Very easy install! Fit very nicely. Very noticeable consistent heat throughout the smoker.

Works great at helping the radiant heat more accurately. Falls off when moving grill. Doesn’t line up perfectly on my pit boss Lexington but is very close.

First off well made and I bought into it. BUTTT This caused huge temperature swings IMO because the grill was designed to have a certain reaction to the temp it is seeing. This blocks the temperature sensor from sensing the actual temperature and adjusting to it as designed. After installation of this device I could not hold a solid temperature for anything. Pulled it back out in the middle of a cook which was no fun and everything went back to work just fine. No refund no nothing asked for just lesson learned.

PitBoss 1150 Pro: I wouldn't suggest installing with just the magnets as they are quite weak and aren't strong enough to hold it in place, but if you use the provided screws and attached it to the heat shield it works great! I had a flame up before and it fried my internal thermometer, but hopefully after this install, it will be more protected.
