I ordered this for my brother-in-law as he has to work outside in the freezing cold a lot in the winter.I asked my sister how he liked it and she said he must love it as he wears it daily and has had no complaints (that in itself is saying a lot). Lol.He said the batteries work well and last a long time, especially on the lower settings. He charges them every evening.He likes to wear the vest under his coat, closer to his body so he can feel the heat well. He really appreciates how well the vest heats up, heats quickly, the heat is nicely distributed, and he really loves the heated neck area.

For a no-name brand this is fine. The heating elements heat up and certainly keep you warm, but the patches of heating elements is far smaller than the graphics in the listing indicate.The instructions have comically bad typos and grammar, but they are clear enough.Between the mismatch of the photoshopped listing images and the actually heating elements along with the high price ($80), I'd say this is a fair buy.

I got this in size Small-Medium. It's pretty big still, but works as I wanted something loose and not tight. The battery pack came pre-charged, but I charged it up just to make sure. I use this every day now when walking the dogs or doing farm chores, it is so nice! It has the heating zones in just the right places, I especially like the one on the back of the neck, as I'm always cold there! At first I plugged in the battery pack, and then it wasn't heating, until I figured out that I have to switch on the big button on the left hand side on by holding it a few seconds. The first setting is red which is the hottest, then white and then blue for the least amount of heat. I usually let it heat up on the red setting and then switch to a lower one. The battery lasts a few hours, I had this on for walking the dogs and then did farm chores like feeding rabbits, cleaning the chicken coop etc. 3hrs later it was still hot, and I lowered it. When I got back, it was off (battery depleted), but I'm not exactly sure how much time had passed when it ran out of power as I was busy and didn't feel cold. All in all this works better than I expected, I decided not to wash the vest as I'm worried it will destroy the heating elements, so I'm only wearing this vest on top of other clothing. I'm very happy to have this and am using it daily now!
