Instructions
Remove:
1.Press the locking tab.
2.Install the tool assembly.
3.Turn the tool anticlockwise.
4.Take out the blower motor from the housing.
Install:
1.Install the tool assembly.
2.Put the blower motor into the housing.
3.Turn the lock clockwise.

It worked. I did not experience any bending of the 4 "probs" but the set screw on the handle did break off. Those who are bending or breaking the "probs" are not completely disengaging the locking mechanism on the chassis. I ran into this issue and used a small flat piece of metal to disengage the lock and then the motor rotated out quite easily. Very little effort is needed to rotate the motor IF you have the lock disengaged.

I used this tool to remove and install a Volvo XC70 blower motor. A fair amount of force is required to turn the blower motor to release it from its three locking clips, and to install a new blower motor. This tool is simply not up to the task. The four locating rods are not tough enough, not welded properly at their bases, and bend sideways in use. I managed to use the tool to replace the blower motor but expect that it would not survive a second job. Suggest spending more and obtain the official Volvo tool that I would expect to be better made and stronger.
