There work well in my 3D printed parts to prevent the threads from the screws from stripping. Great value and easy to install by heating them up and pressing in. They fit well when the hole size is made to the specifications on the package.

I bought this so that I'd have a nice "Assortment" of inserts for various future products. But there's nothing included to tell how to size the hole for each insert! I also separately purchased a package of additional M4 x 6 x 6 inserts, and that shows the actual specs - suggested width 5.31-5.35mm, minimum depth 7.0mm, minimum wall thickness 2.1mm. I'd never have known ANY of that without purchasing a separate set.

I've found myself buying this brand in particular. They are good quality. I have bought large quantities from CNC Kitchen, but sometimes I've needed sizes I didn't have, in a hurry, so I end up in here - choose these every time. I don't put them in hot as I don't personally think that's a good idea. I fit mine using a toggle press and add they go in, you can see them rotating and effectively cutting themselves into the material. A royal pita to get out of something is wrong, so I know they work!
