I have to open vials daily at work. Previously I used vial decanters which had a high malfunction rate. These vial decappers have worked every time. They fit securely over the top of the vial and pry off the top with minimal effort. They take off both the cap and the rubber stopper. They are well built, not flimsy at all. These are my new favorite work tool!

unfortunately after i purchased this i learned a cool trick where you can pretty easily decap a vial with the crimper you used to cap it with it the 1st place . but the crimper is very big and bulky and while its not a difficult thing to do this dedicated set is much easier and quicker and works very well

I've been using side cutters on my small medicine bottles for the longest time, and then I see these pop up on my vine. The hassle of the side cutters was enough to make me curious, so I got them. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! No more sharp edges peeling away trying to scar my fingers, the rubber plug comes right out at the same time, and boom, you just throw away the top and the pliers just keep on plying. Game changer if you use syringe bottles for anything.

These really work well, you definitely get what you pay for as they are pricey. I bought some of the cheaper decappers here that look like bottle cap openers at around six bucks. Those take more effort, about 2 attempts at tear off the caps instead of a smooth removal like these. These are definitely bulkier than the small decappers though not so big you can't take them to work (Healthcare workers). These are definitely the Rolls Royce of decappers.
