CONS:- Lack of any kind of manual.- No instructs on use, care, and maintenance (Does the rubber require periodic lubrication?)- Missing critical information (What is the suction cup load-bearing capacity?).- Dust and debris magnet, especially the rubber. Requires cleaning before use.- Uneven finish that shows scuffs, markings, and wear.PROS:- Build quality.- Durable.- Quality materials.- They work.- Provides a stable aluminum-alloy body and handle to grip during use.- Knurled handles for a more secure grip.- Rubber gives a secure suction, seal, and hold on the glass.- Leaves no trace, marking, or residue after use on the glass.THE REVIEW...We bought a new table with a glass top and then realized...how are we going to adjust or move this thing when we need to? That's what lead us to order these suction cups.First impressions weren't great. First thing I noticed is the product has an uneven finish that shows scuffs, markings, and wear (see photos). You can also visualize the uneven finish in the photos...maybe from the manufacturing process? They attract dust and debris, especially the rubber. They need to be cleaned before use. They did not come with a user, product, or instructional manual. The only helpful information can be found on the box they were shipped in. The box claims: "Do not exceed the suction cup load-bearing capacity!†That's kind of an important limitation to know. But you won't find it anywhere on the box, product, or non-existent manual. Pray to baby Jesus you don't accidentally exceed it. Bye-bye my precious glass. So first impressions were not great...The box does provide some additional information. The hand grip and body are made from an aluminum alloy and the suction cups are made from a natural rubber. The box also indicates a quantity of x2.The box reminds you multiple times these are dual clawed glass suction cups. Not sure what would happen if you used them on something other than glass? You'd probably be okay but in case there was any confusion, the box has spoken and says...glass.The suction cups agree. Their text imprint on the rubber says, "Glass Suction Plate." They really want you to know they are for glass.I can give them their first bit of credit, everything about them says build quality, quality materials, and durability. That lends a modicum of confidence and reassurance. The grip and body are hollow. And they should be. It cuts down on the weight, especially important when hefting around glass. Thanks to the aluminum, they are light and won't rust. The aluminum is thick and solid with zero give. The handles are knurled for extra friction to provide a more secure grip. They provide a stable handle to grip during use.The rubber is thick. Though, I'm not sure if the suction cups require periodic lubrication? If only there was a manual with product information to instruct on use, care, and maintenance. The rubber gives a secure suction, seal, and hold on the glass. The rubber is also a dust, dander, hair, and debris magnet.I appreciate the box warns you: "Please make sure that the surface of the object to be suctioned is clean and smooth before use." I'll add, also make sure that the surface of the suction cup is clean and free of any debris before use.The suction is strong. It is important to make sure that the rubber and glass are clean. Otherwise, that debris is ground and driven right into the glass. Take the few seconds needed to clean the surfaces as it's not worth ruining the finish of your glass.Their operation is simple and they are simple to use. In the absence of any kind of manual, I provide the following instructions from my experience. After you clean the surface and rubber, place the suction cups where you want an extra handle or two with the levers in the up position. Push down on the handle and then on the levers to suction and lock them into place. Don't exceed the (unknown) weight capacity - seriously this should be on the box, product, or in a user manual. They will stay in place until you release them. In my experience, once I released them, the suction cups left behind no trace, marking, or residue. It is here they deserve some additional credit , they work well.

I ordered these Smafixt 2 piece glass suction cups to pick up the 2 pieces of glass on my modern coffee table so that both frame levels can be properly cleaned and dusted, as well as providing a proper cleaning to all sides of the glass.I was a bit hesitant, at first, to trust that my glass would be okay while lifting it from the table frame. To my surprise, and relief, this was the appropriate set of tools for the job! I was able to lift the glass without sliding it and scratching it up so that I could dust and wet wipe the table frames at the top and lower levels. The suction grip was quite exceptional!I was slightly skeptical of the plastic clips on the suction cup assembly, but remembered not to judge a book by its cover. Besides, my old Garmin adhered to my windshield in the same way, my cat's perch uses large suction cups and clips to adhere to my slider door...I am so glad I took a chance and ordered this set of Lifter tools! Now, a difficult task is much, much easier to accomplish and I can keep my living room glass top table looking shiny with a dust-free frame! I'm still thinking of other things to use these for. If I get any dings on my car doors, I will try to remove them with one of these lol.I believe these tools are primarily made for use by automotive body shops and auto repair ships. And probably for window glazers. I bet they are made for use with windshield replacement too, and if they'd been used by the guy who replaced mine (hands only---and free scratches to my dashboard because he couldn't hold the weight of the windshield and insert it using his method) my dash would not be so ugly now. If my windshield ever gets hit and cracked by a stone or large piece of gravel again, I have just the tool for the Safelight installer lol!

Update 03/17/24:I just wanted to update this review to relate how much this product has just recently helped me. I have laminate flooring in one of my apartments that had separated in a few areas. The gaps between some of the lengths was up to 1/8" each. I just placed the suction cups on the affected panels (both cups on the same panel), got a small block of wood, placed it on the end of the handle and tapped it firmly with a hammer. The gaps "magically" disappeared and the floor looks like new again. Can't say enough good about this product. I'm REALLY glad that I have these!!Original review:This is a high quality, well made pair of suction grips which will last for years to come. The suction strength is impressive. Once locked down, it stays in place!I ordered these to help with placing and removing the ping pong table tops to and from my pool table. Typically suction grips are better with completely smooth, non porous surfaces like glass or granite, etc. so I was a little concerned that they may not work well (hold a grip on the surface) on the ping pong top. Obviously, the surface is painted, so the porous part is not so much of an issue as the fact that it is not completely smooth. Well, it worked like a champ. It made installing and removing the tops by myself a piece of cake.In addition, I have a very heavy glass living room coffee table which is moved much easier with these grips. I'm very pleased to have these grips. Highly recommended.
