A ABIGAIL Toyota oil filter wrenches are forged from high quality 6061 T5 aluminum, which can bear tremendous pressure when you unscrew the extremely tight Toyota oil filter caps. and the surface is treated with a high quality black anodized finish to prevent corrosion.
Design:
There are 4 slots on the bottom edge, which are mated perfectly with the tabs on the Toyota 15620-31060 oil filter cover and helps prevent slippage when you unscrew the oil filter housing with tremendous strength by a socket wrench or adjustable spanner.
Application:
This oil filter wrench is a perfect fit on all 2.0L to 5.7L in Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles that use Toyota oil filter 04152-YZZA1, 04152-YZZA4, and 04152-YZZA5 including the new 2GRFKS 3.5L Tacoma and 8AR-FTS 2.0L in the NX200t and RC200t. It does not fit the 1.8L engine or vehicles that use disposable spin-on style oil filters.

Was having trouble getting off the oil filter on a 06 Toyota Rav 4 sport that I just purchased. Tried others no luck ordered this and it easily fit and took off the filter. Great product and made very well and durable.

Toyota/Lexus oil filter wrench tool:I had to order another one of these tools because the first one I ever bought from a local auto parts shop was very wimpy. The metal was not very strong and it was already bending up on my second oil change, it was awful.I was skeptical after that first experience trying to find a good tool but a youtuber recommended this item so I gave it a try. I gotta say comparing the two you definitely are getting more sturdy metal with nicer looking casting/cuts on this. The metal around the cut out for the tabs is thicker too and the grooved patterns are more pronounced and well defined. I actually had a little trouble getting the tool off because it fit so good but all you gotta do is wiggle it around some or tap it with something then wiggle and it should pop off easily.Anyways recommending this for sure and its way better than the china pot metal one I got from the local shop.

I can't complain too much since it got the job done, but the fit was pretty subpar. I had to use a tool to pry it off the canister when I was done.Credit where it's due tho, it's built like a tank.

I had high hopes for it, but it caused me more work than I like. When you pull it out of the package it looks nice, high quality, etc. but when you use it you are going to encounter some issues. First, it did not fit. It was tight, so I have it a couple taps of the rubber mallet thinking it needed broke it or the finish was too thick on the metal. After 15 minutes of working it off the filter housing it came off. I darn near had to get out the dremel to cut it off. Next, where the cap make contact with anything, the metal was chipped and rolled. One use of light torque to take the filter housing off and the socket adapter was losing metal. One use of the 3/8" drive and the unit took damage. I used this one time and had to ask for a refund.

I prefer to do my own work on my vehicles and this was very helpful for working on my Venza. It is solid construction and firmly fit the oil filters (new and used). The previous filter was installed too tightly and this tool spun it off with no problem.

This adapter worked exactly as intended, it's a very snug fit on the oil filter housing, tap it on gently with a piece of wood and a hammer or a deadblow mallet. It is aluminum so don't put a huge amount of torque on it if your housing was put on too tight like mine was. The adapter held up, and I got my filter changed with a bit of persuasion. Good purchase.
