This item is described as scissors, but it is really a utility cutter. You would not want to use it for cutting paper or even cardboard. The tool works great for trimming shrubs, cutting small PVC pipe, and just about anything up to about the size of your index finger. If you want scissors, though, you should look at something like the LIVINGO Premium Tailor Scissors.

We use these for one purpose only, to cut rubber for squeegees. They do a great job and we cut a thousand plus times and get good results. You can also replace the blade whenever you want. Be really careful with them because they are sharp and strong and so you wouldn’t want to put your finger in there:) to keep them strong and rust free, clean them up especially if you’re using them out in the wet and cold. I recommend just doing them inside the shed workspace where they will always stay dry.

Have had a pair of these Craftsman brand for years, and they are my favorite flower/shrub trimming tool. Wanted a second pair, and these are the exact product. Excellent product!

These cutters are well designed and constructed. I just cut some very tough 30" zip ties with ease, and look forward to using them on a variety of other materials. A very good value. I highly recommend them.
