These are small, light-weight shelving brackets. They are designed for narrow shelves and tight spaces. They aren't heavy duty... I would spit-ball that a pair of them might safely hold 25-30lbs. But for narrow decorative shelves or for places where spatial constraints call for small brackets, these are great You can always use more of them per linear foot of shelf to beef up the total holding capacity.In my application, I wanted a narrow shelf close to the slab to hold a cable modem and other equipment in a satellite system. The 4.5" leg allowed me to put the shelf 6" off the slab --- which was perfect-- and the 8" leg allowed for a 9" shelf -- also perfect. I used eight of the brackets along a six foot length and it is very sturdy. I can recommend these. The only facet I can't recommend is the included screws and mounting hardware. The screws are #6 -- too thin. And for installation in wallboard those silly little plastic anchors are included. I dislike those. I used #8 screws and for installation in wallboard I'd recommend getting some so-called "molly bolts" (also called "toggle bolts") or some "hollow wall anchors" .

I ordered these shelf brackets twice and both times I was very pleased. They were shipped promptly. Arrived with all brackets and screws as advertised. They are nice and sturdy and were easy to put up. In all a great buying experience.

The brackets are great, I used them for diy bookshelves I built and they can really hold a lot of weight. The screws included are unbelievable though, and not in a good way. I’ve never had a screw snap in half on me. I went through 3 of these screws snapping before I gave up and just got some screws from my workshop.

It was easy to install these mounting brackets. They work well for medium-weight shelves. I appreciate the value for money and the brackets are well made for the price. Sleek appearance, and sturdiness.

The clean lines and straightforward design of the brackets coupled with the black finish fit perfectly into the style of our home. One set of brackets was used to support a shelf on the kitchen island, the other set holds a shelf above an area to hang coats. Both installations were easy with no need to make any modifications. Would definitely buy again.
