I used it for securing an enclosure on my UTV and it performed perfectly. I thought it was a little pricy but the tool itself is heavy duty and made the work easy.

I have had need to add heavy duty snaps to some items. I have found this tool easy to use and relatively self explanatory with the limited directions even though I am a first time snap applier. It did take some adjusting to get the tool set correctly. The snaps that came in the kit however, are not what I would consider to be heavy duty. They don't snap securely so I don't trust that they will hold. They feel very loose. To be fair, I only applied a handful before I switched to a more heavy duty snap, but the few I tried did not meet my expectations for "heavy duty". Otherwise, this is a great set-up.

I recently bought this snap fastener to add buttons to a convertible boot cover for a classic car. I was worried that using a manual tool would be too inconsistent. This fastener worked extremely well and made quick work out of a normally difficult project. It comes with 3 different base plates, a nice case, and several snaps.

Snap closure tool. Excellent tool, very well presented in a good carry case. Initially worked perfectly for the first 100 or so press studs. The magnetic punch die has now become extremely difficult to use as the magnetic effect which is produced by two small but powerful magnet inserts fitted into each of the dies. due to their small size coupled with the magnetic power make it really difficult to put the magnets back in place. After the magnets having fallen out five or six times, I am looking at ways to glue the magnets in place. I want to keep this tool, but the supplier should find a solution. I am posting this report to the supplier. my first attempt will be using a small drop of “LOCK-TITE†in the hole.
