I've been using this polyester strapping for securing insulation blankets to my greenhouse, and I'm impressed with its performance. Polyester can be prone to decomposition from prolonged UV exposure, which might be a concern for greenhouse use. I ordered the “Heavy Duty Woven Cord Strapping Flat Rope - 1000ft x 1/2in Standard Woven Strapping Roll - Banding Strapping Kit & Pallet Strapping Kit - Includes Virgin Polyester Strapping Roll & Self-Dispensing Box†to review and to use for various strapping needs around our house. Most of all, I LOVE the flexibility of this strapping. I started using some poly strapping a few years ago but I do not have a crimping tool and, instead, use buckles to secure and tighten the strapping. Other poly strapping products can be too rigid to use with buckles. This woven cord strapping is so perfect for what I need. I also love how strong it is, as well as being weather/water/rust/sun resistant. This stuff is easy to feed and set up. I love that the box itself is the dispenser. This has come in handy in multiple situations. I haven't tested the 1800 lb strength but I'm pretty confident it'll hold up to the smaller tasks I use it for.

This is a handy size roll of strapping material. I don't use it a lot so this size will last me a long time. Larger rolls offer much better price per foot, but this is nice to throw in the truck without having to lug around a heavier large roll.
