My leather arrived today for my project. I am making a cover for an old hatchet I found in an antique store. The leather is beautiful, almost too to cut up. The thickness is perfect, the rich red-brown color is exactly what I hoped for. Most important, it is from the back of the steer so it will hold up to rough handling and maintain the rich lustre throughout use. I have several other leather projects planned and this will be my "go-to" supplier.I certainly recommend this product and supplier to all.

Worked great. Use a little saddle soap when done crafting your project and it sure looks good.

If you bend the lethet the color does not stayIt changes to its natural colorI wad hopping the color it will be more dense and not change color

Excellent buy. As described. Very easy to work with. I've purchased from other sellers and thickness was much thinner than advertised. This is true 7 to 8 oz. Will definitely buy again.

Incorrect color!As you can see from my photos, the color is not the dark grey pictured, but instead a rich brown.The leather quality is very good, with zero blemishes, and a consistent thickness...But the wrong color!

Description clearly says 7-8 oz leather. IT IS NOT. It is more like 2-3 oz leather.
