It is a little under 1/2, but it's plenty heavy enough. This locks into my Cat 906m nice and tight. It is a little big right to left, but that could be easily fixed with some spacers, if necessary. I did touch up a few welds where they didn't continue the whole way to the corners, but the welds are high quality over all. Will buy another one for the next project.

We are building a snow pusher out of steel tubing and an old tire. We wanted something very strong and heavy duty. This is perfect for the job.

It really is 1/2" steel. The welds are of good quality. It really does weight 125lb (123 to be exact). The price (150 at the time) is far better than the local shops are getting.

You can definitely tell that this plate was made in China. The welds are terrible and the top lip isn’t straightBut having said that, you get what you pay for and since most people buying this plate are going to weld on additional framing for there particular application, it’s a good starting point
