Ordered this for my brand new 2021 F250. Received the first one in the mail, it was defective. The molded areas for the metal mounting tabs were not formed correctly which made installation impossible. Had to reach out to seller and they sent me a replacement bug shield. The second bug shield appeared to be ok. Install went fine and I had no issues until…I went on a long road trip. Driving on the highway was fine for the first several hours and then I started hearing a loud vibration noise at 70-80mph. Thought it was my hood since there was a little bit of play in it. Never even thought about the bug shield being an issue. After stopping a few times to try and adjust the hood stops (creating less movement in the hood while driving) I realized that wasn’t solving the issue. I just kept my speed down to avoid the noise/vibration. Once I stopped at a hotel I decided to check the bug shield, sure enough three of the five mounting tabs had broken off the bug shield. They did not break around the screws (from possible over tightening) but where the tabs connect to the main bug shield plastic. This was creating much play in the bug shield. I removed the bug shield from my truck and boom….problem solved. No further issues with noise or vibration the rest of the trip, regardless of my speed. When I got home I inspected my hood area for damage from the vibrating/loose bug shield. Sure enough, had some scratches/scuffs on my hood from this thing rubbing. I installed this bug shield exactly as instructions stated. And now I am left with some damage on my brand new truck, and no bug shield. I reached out to supplier to allow them an opportunity to “make this right†before posting this comment. They came back and said since I am out of warranty they would refund me $30. I bought this in Sept., it is now Dec. this thing made it 4 months before failure. I have sent a follow up note back to the supplier asking for at least a full refund of the product, and offered to send them the defective/failed bug shield so they could examine for quality concerns. If they respond with actions greater than what they have originally offered, I will update this post accordingly. Given the issues that I have had with not one, but two of these bug shields I cannot recommend these. Buyer beware, quality does not seem to be there. Potential risk of damage to your vehicle.

One of the clips that inserts into the guard was not properly made (too long) and didn't fit into the guard. Instead of sending back I was able to cut the little metal bracket so that it would fit completely into the guard. This took time and precision to accomplish. For that reason only I would not recommend this product. Otherwise it was ok.

Love the look! This was for my son. The first one I bought was broken. The second one came quickly. He was able to install but said he had to make adjustments to the part to make it fit. He is very happy with it.
