Easy to install and beefy.! Great addition! I've tied rope to it and pulled a small tree with it. Well worth the $$.

There is no YouTube video fitting this bumper to a John Deere LA 120. Here’s what you do. Disconnect lights and lift hood off. Next locate two 8 mm bolts in lower portion of photo to remove muffler shield. Tip it down and pull forward to release tabs. If rusty now is a good time to clean and apply barbecue black paint. Next take bumper, press brackets inward and slide inside of frame. Tip down slightly and it will snap into position but you still have to get bolts into square holes. Left side has more space so get it to thread first. Long needle nose pliers are your friend. Then align by inserting first from outside. Then remove and nudge into position so you can add rubber washer and lock nut. When both sides in tighten and reassemble in reverse order. When done it doesn’t move, hood opens and looks great.

Fits my LA105 nicely and looks good. Slides in the front of the frame below the hood and snaps into place. Put in the bolts and end plugs and youre done. Seems a little light duty out of the box but once its attached it feels really robust. The hood opens all the way without touching the bumper. Only thing I didn't like were the endplugs which didnt go in well or look that great but it's worth protecting the hood.

I replaced a LA135 bumper that had a fight with the blades - and lost. See the pics. The new bumper looks like it came off the same OEM tooling that stamped the original attach arms. They were a little crooked, straightened with hand pressure before install. Fits well and hood opens completely. Bumper still moves up/down a bit even after the bolts are good and tight but does not rattle. Probably an OEM design flaw. The box contained all the hardware in the seller pics but it was scattered throughout the box, ziplock bag was torn. I wanted instructions because my bumper fell off and I didn’t want a repeat performance. No instructions in the box. I ended up using only the (2) carriage bolts and ny-loc nuts you see in the seller pics.Install tips for an LA135:Heat your plastic end caps in hot water before attempting to push them into the tubes. Once you get one side started, twist and push repeatedly until they are all the way in.I had to remove the muffler guard and was barely able to fish the carriage bolt into the square hole on the right side. Left side was easy see the pic of left side. All in all, a good value.

Good bumper for the value. It came with all parts and easy to install. The mounting bars came a bit offset so I had to bent it back with a table press.

The first thing I noticed is it's not packed particularly well, just loose in a box with a layer of thin bubble wrap. Mine was okay, but I recommend ensuring it wasn't damaged in transit if you buy one. It's very lightweight. I'm not sure how it compares to the OEM bumper, but I get the impression a solid hit against a pole would do it in. Of course, if it takes the damage instead of the mower, that's what it's for.Finish is okay. A little surface rust inside the tubes, but I'm not too concerned. The outside looks decent. The end caps were pain to get on. Installation was relatively easy; there's no instructions and some extra parts, but it was pretty clear what was/wasn't needed. It lined up well and looks good on the mower. Not terrible, but it might have been worth spending a bit more for an OEM bumper. I got it for a used D110 so I didn't want to spend too much.

No directions, goes on inside of frame rails, heat bumper end caps with hair dryer and they slide right in. Fits great, looks good
