I had factory daytime running lights and replaced them with these. They are a lot brighter and beings I already had DRL they were plug and play. I was hesitant to buy these because I didn’t think they were going to be brighter but they are much brighter. Definitely worth it to me. Installation was fairly easy. There are some tight spots but it wasn’t horrible. I googled how to remove the light befor I started. Gen5DIY had a great explanation on how to remove the lights under their installation section.

Very nice product,install requires undoing much of the underneath bumper area,tight places,etc. The only issue I found was the passenger side harness connector housing(the light itself) after I installed it was a PITA.I tried plugging the connector and it wouldn't go as it should so I had to pull the light back out and found that the internal connectors were smashed so I bent them upwards and was able to get it to connect.Ughhh,nobody wants to reinstall a part but in the end it looks and works great. PS: The Impala engineers didn't want anyone to install anything else so the switch harness was difficult,I went through a rubber firewall panel under the dash and fished it through to connect under the hood.

Fits ok but wiring is a nightmare. No instructions makes it difficult but not impossible.

I did not like the fact of installing the lights and I have all the problems with removing and replacing some brackets to the bumper in order to fit the lights so it was not easy to install as well as there is no how to book on installing the lights even having to break pieces off to make it fit into the mount with the correct front bumper the wiring kit does not have instructions on how to install them. Although the appearance of the lights is nice I would much rather be able to easy install the lights into the car
