I was pleased with the item as far as it goes. The set was as described, of decent quality, and worked as described. However, I want to advise you that the collection tray might be too small for your needs, especially if you don't want to constantly empty it into a pail. The process of collecting the poop was quick and easy, but the tray filled up too quickly for my two small dogs. I often found myself dropping some of the poop after I picked it up. AInd I had to keep moving my pail as I went on.If you're considering this item, keep in mind that you might want to look for a larger tray with higher sides to avoid frequent interruptions during the task.I did not return this item, as it was my fault to change my mind after using it. The item description and quality of the item was spot-on. I ended up getting one with a larger collection trays and using it with the rake I got with this set.

I usually use the plastic scoopers but they break easily when it's frozen in the winter. I was impressed as soon as I received this rake set. It's solid metal and easy to put together. It's also the right size, picking up my big dog's large poops. Great choice of colors too!

We take our dogs to various dog parks. Most of them provide metal "pooper scoopers." However, our local community dog park only provides poop bags. A lot of people refuse to use those, which leads to a less than clean dog park. I purchased this "pooper scooper," intending to leave it at the park for myself and others to use.The good: it's easy to assemble, and the quality is great for the price. The metal rake is especially high quality. Also, the scoop is large, allowing you to pick up a lot of trash / poop. Probably my favorite feature is the pan locks into place quite easily. When you set the pan flat on the ground, you'll notice the handle leans forward slightly. By pulling the handle backwards, into a 90° angle, it will lock into place. It also snaps back, allowing it to fully close while carrying it. I love this feature.The bad: If the poop is soft at all, this scooper is less than ideal. It doesn't take long for this scooper to become completely disgusting. The poop sticks to the rake, as well as the rake device inside of the pan. Anything you manage to get into the pan will be stuck. It's gross! I'm not sure why most of these two piece pooper scoopers use a rake and not a hoe..? Anyway, the fact that the pan is plastic seems to exacerbate this issue. I'd highly recommend letting the poop dry before using this pooper scooper.Note: because I leave this at my community dog park, it's difficult to clean. If you're purchasing it to use at home, you could hose it off, making the above issues less problematic.Bottom line, if you're looking for an inexpensive item that's relatively easy to use in your back yard, I'm sure this one will work well.Update: after leaving this pooper scooper at our community dog park, I've noticed the park is much cleaner. Other are using it. After a few weeks of use, it remains in good working condition.

Love this pooper scooper. I is light weight but works well to clean up after my dog. If you have large dogs you will need to empty it a few times but with a smaller dog it’s the perfect size.

Good quality but can't put it together because of caps on the end of two poles. I finally figured it out. But it would have been helpful if the instructions were clearer.

I figured I'd show you my large dogs rather than the size of their poop. lol = lots of poop. Used this today for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised how much it could hold and still be functional. Easy to use and easy to dump out into a bin. This was a good purchase.

It's definitely a pooper scooper...item was exactly as described by the seller, it arrived on time and was easy to put together. My last scoop had the scraper instead of the rake and I have to say the rake is a much better choice as long as your dog has firm poops...so buyer beware. My dog is raw fed so no worries with softies. Having a poop scoop is a must if you have a dog that uses a yard, and it sure beats using tissue to pick it up. I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again if I needed one, and would recommend this scoop and this seller.
