I waited a couple of months after purchasing before I wrote this review because I wanted to use it a bit first. This is a great desk for drawing at the price point. It was easy to assemble and only took about 30 minutes. It is well built and looks nice. The desk is very stable even in the full tilt position. There are several on Amazon that look the exact same so I purchased the cheaper one. I use this more than I use my H frame easel except for when i’m drawing portraits because it will not tilt straight up and down and when I draw portraits I prefer to have my drawing surface and paper 90 degrees to the floor when viewing my subject. The tilt on this desk is very good with a wide range of tilt just not a full 90 degrees. See photo of the desk tilted fully. Initially I thought the stool that comes with it would be flimsy and I would not use it and made the purchase not planning to use it however, I was surprised at how sturdy it is and I use it often. I’m a bigger guy at 240 lbs and it’s fine. The desk has a great range of height adjustments as well so seated or standing you should be fine. If I could suggest one thing to the manufacturer it would be to include some clips for holding your drawing paper but what I found that works great is magnets. I place several on the underside of the glass and place the magnets on the top side on my paper and the magnets hold the paper. Of course you can use low adhesive artist tape as shown in one of the photos so it’s a matter of preference. I also purchased an adjustable LED light for when I need additional light source. The light shown in the photo did not come with the desk. All in all I highly recommend this to anyone needing a nice looking stable work station not just for drawing and arts and crafts like I use it for.

This is possibly the best built item I’ve bought on Amazon. Fairly simple instructions, all tools included. No sharp edges that I’ve seen. Very sturdy. My son loves it. Thank you for a great product for a great price.

Bought this to build for my teenager. Reading the reviews, I wasn't sure how tricky it would be to put together and how jenky it would feel. But it's basically as described; no parts were missing and everything fit. It definitely feels a bit cheap but for the money and features it's reasonable. The big downside is that it's actually about 48" wide - much wider than described. (It's possible to remove the sliding shelf under the glass desk, which would take it down to about 40" wide). Since I bought it to fit exactly into a space, this was not ideal. Also, some of the diagrams are hard to parse; so it's really worth watching the instructional video (featured in the product listing) as well as reading the instructions.

leverage mechanism, (setting the height mechanism seems a bit fragile, just in case i maintain the glass down when not using) overall satisfied with the product, strong glass, room to work with, to store, adjustable height, i like my table very much!!!

Very unstable when open looks alright works fine flat but when you have the table at a angle it is very floppy

The table arrived quickly. One of the slide-out extension's guides was bent and I had to use pliers to straighten it out so that the extension would slide into the table. The assembly was difficult because the instructions are not very clear. The assembly video is deceptively made to appear that this would be a quick project, and it probably would be if the screws weren't all bundled together with different types mixed in each compartment of the long bag of screws that comes with the table. Some of the screws are mislabeled, and some that ought to be the same size are off by enough so that they do not fit the threaded grommets. I had to dive into my own toolbox to locate screws and bolts that would fit. The hex heads are also off on some screws and would not fit the enclosed tool. Again, I had to use my own tools to make the mismatched hex heads work. I found myself watching the video several times to try and interpret the meaning of the assembly instruction book. This assembly took nearly 3 hours trying to figure it out, find my own parts from my own parts bins to replace the defective parts, and use my own tools. I am mechanically inclined. None of this was a mystery to me, but it was super frustrating to have to continuously go back into my own parts bins and toolboxes to find what I needed to assemble this table. I wouldn't recommend this table to anyone without a deep parts bin and a good set of personal tools. The box comes labeled "Open carefully. Returns Only Accepted With Original Packaging" for good reason. Overall, this is a light duty drafting table and it feels decently solid for its price.
