I purchased a small enclosed trailer last December. The seller towed it to my home. We went to hitch it to the ball on my 1995 Toyota pickup and it would not fit correctly, yes the hitch and ball were the same size. So I could tow the trailer with my pickup I installed a Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch. The trailer hitched perfectly. The Class 3 Trailer Hitch weight caused it to scrape when going over the gutter in front of our driveway. It was starting to snow (the wet kind) so I decided to wait until Spring. Luckily March has had great weather so my nephew and I installed the Hellwig 1515 LP-15 helper spring. After we installed the helper spring I took my truck for a test drive: Exited and entered the driveway several times and there was no scraping. I then drove it down the road and crossed the street gutter from hell (you can see crevices in the pavement from vehicles scraping and a scary pot hole) and still no scraping. The only complaints I have are the Amazon webpage reads it will not fit, but the manufacturer website reads it will fit, and it did. Also the threads on the U bolts and Nuts were poorly machined (needed cleaned up). Unlike a previous reviewer the u bolts were all the same size.

They were a tight fit for my 2002 Tacoma 2wd. One actually fell off and was lost. Should have checked it more closely. Seems if it was better quality, I wouldn't have to check it.

I have purchased many items off of the internet and have never written a review, but I was so impressed with the PT-35 I felt I had to. I have a Mercury 4 stroke 25 hp that weighs about 180 pounds. I tried an electric lift which lasted about one year before it snapped off from the weight. The reason I didn't get the PT-35 was I was afraid of pulling the motor and mounting the bracket. Wasn't sure if I was up to the task. It couldn't have been easier though. I have a two ton come along hooked to the rafters in my garage and it was easy. The directions for the lift are very straightforward and easy to understand. The lift has great quality and performs even better than the ads say. Very happy with the lift. The more I use it the better I like it. Also Amazon was the cheapest place I could find it.

I was not expecting to much from these helper springs, just a few hundred extra pounds of carrying capacity for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma, but I was really surprised by how well they performed. Once a month I pick up a load of food from the Mormon Bishops Storehouse and drive it over the Santa Cruz Mountains to the Catholic Soup Kitchen in Santa Cruz. As the food orders got bigger and bigger my little truck could not handle the load and I was bottoming out all the way over Highway 17. This set of springs really saved the day and saved me from buying a bigger truck which I could not afford. They are fairly straight forward to install and you can do the whole job in about an hour. My only complaint is that I was shorted on nuts to install them as set out in the instructions.

Came with wrong thread on nuts. Nuts came as 1/2"-13 and U-bolts were threaded 1/2"-20. Cost me trip to hardware store and $10 to buy 32 1/2"-20 nuts. Also watch out for the fact that not only are there two lengths to the spring set (short in front, long in rear as advised in directions), but the U-bolts are also long and short. This however isn't mentioned in the directions and they are packaged as four in a bag (all in each bag are same length). Consequently a fairly simple project took a few hours.

Installed these on my 2004 Tacoma double cab, raised my bed about 3/4" from my sagging springs. Made my 2" front level even with the rear. Does make it altitude stiffer I the rear but handles better, did have to cut the front spring clamp/rivit to make these fit took about 1 1/2 hours installing kit. Great product !

This did not fit my 1991 Toyota Pick-up (2WD, automatic). The helper springs were simply too long and did not fit correctly. They might fit other makes or models; but, they did not fit my truck, even using the amazon fitment guide.
