Said I needed this for my 2011 Chevy Avalanche 4x4 when installing the Hellwig front swaybar. Total non-sense. I didn't need it, and didn't install it.

The manufacturer indicated that these are mandatory for my 2018 Silverado equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission due to clearance issues. They weren't needed and were a waste of money.
