It makes putting it on and taking it off a bit easier, I ended up cutting the d rings from the helmet to keep it from getting in the way

This is much better than fumbling with the d-rings for the chin strap. It's nice that you don't have to alter the existing chin strap for this to work, it completely reversible. Now I can don and remove my helmet with gloves on.
