This was exactly what I needed. I don't do a lot of soldering so it wasn't worth it for me to buy a fancy expensive soldering station. This one works great for me.

I really like this thing and would rate it 5 stars, but it's missing the little rubber covers for the clips. It's pictures with them but doesn't have them. Can't find a way to buy them separately either.Correction, it is not pictured with the rubber covers on the clips. Updated to 5 stars.Otherwise it works well and the light and magnifier are awesome.

The only complaint he has is the Magnifying glass is smaller than he would like and has to be moved too often to view the portion he is looking at.

This product is heavily misrepresented.1. THERE ARE NO MAGNETIC COLLUMNS!2. There are no conical mounting covers for the top of the build plate as is depicted. The 4 conical pieces that are actually in the box are foe the feet.Over all the construction seems of good quality. Just really hate being lied to no matter how small. I spent money on this and expected to receive the product as described and depicted. False advertising is deceitful, plain and simple. Very disappointed in this seller...

This product is just "OK". No matter how hard you screw the arms onto the base, the screws always seem to work loose. I found myself repeatedly tightening the arms screws. The arms are flexible but stiff - and not always the most cooperative when you're working with small parts. The adjustability of the light is nice, but could stand to be a little brighter. It doesn't come with a power supply - you have to provide your own USB power supply. It's better than nothing, but not a lot better.
