Got this order in two days, along with a nice Bookstore Scent candle. Hemp wicks work best paired with a candle, so you don't have to keep flicking a lighter. I initialed tried RAW brand, but found them far too thick and airy, making them burn too fast. Bee Wick came in #1 in two reviews, so I took a chance. I was drawn to the fact that these are made in the US by a small family business. I made a great choice.Bee Wicks are nice and thin, very compressed, almost stiff, and doesn't leave a tackiness on your fingers. I was told that the company uses pharmaceutical-grade bee's wax, but they don't advertise that so it's not likely true. Regardless, the wax they use is high quality. The wick burns nicely, slowly, and doesn't drip. Easy to extinguish. Helps produce better smoke from my (legal) herb, sans butane and flint dust.Highly recommended for all uses, herbal and otherwise. Remember to use a candle for your sesh.

I only recently learned about hemp wick and how it is used and created. I was given a sample of another brand's hemp wick in a bundle of items I ordered, and once I found the benefits of hemp wick, I was hooked and wanted more. Hemp wick is wonderful for many reasons, one of the best is because if you smoke, it will extend the life of lighters and make them last more than twice as long as they normally last in most cases. Additionally, it burns at a lower temperature than a flame from a butane lighter so it doesn't apply too much heat and burn or char instead of simply applying a natural flame. Finally, it is eco-friendly - not only by extending the life of lighters significantly - but because it supports hemp production and beeswax production, and leaves a more pleasant taste in one's mouth when smoking. Oh, and it also is flexible to be able to stay lit while moving at different angles and for reach!These are all great reasons to use hemp wick, but the sample I received that let me learn all these cool things about hemp wicks was a little on the thinner side and burned rather quickly. I came online to compare many reviews and found Bee Wick to have the best reviews overall as well as having all the things I was looking for in a hemp wick. Being new to using hemp wick, I only bought 50 feet, but when it arrived it was the perfect thickness and worked so well that my wife and I went through the entire 50 feet in about one week (with a LOT of heavy usage all day every day!).We both love Bee Wick hemp wick and highly recommend it to everyone. We reordered recently to get the Bee Wick 420 ft (great joke guys! lol) spool and I'm looking forward to receiving that soon. I love this brand and think everyone should try out hemp wick - even if it may sound redundant to you, once you try it a few times you'll see the appeal too!

I smoke a tobacco type pipe (brier/meerschaum), and I love this over wooden matches. Particularly when paired with my new wick dispenser. For a pipe smoker this makes things much more convenient. It's also pretty good with cigars for that matter... and it's green.I know this is going to be a bit of a rave, but I don't write many of these reviews. I figure, I spend money for something, a company sends said object, deal done. Some vendors act as if you're under some kind of obligation to give them, not just a review, but a 5 star review. Try and give one of these sorts of vendors anything less than a 5 star. Believe you me, if you give these people a 4 star review instead of a 5, you'll hear about it. That said, this is a product that surprised me over how much I liked it.I don't own any financial interest in this company or anything, but I've been a pipe smoker for a good many years now. I have a profession (theoretical physicist/mathematician) where I need to read and concentrate on very complex subjects for long periods of time. I found that giving myself a "smoke break" it would give me something to look forward to and so that I would take a sufficient break. Otherwise, I have a tendency to sit in one spot for hours on end, screwing up my back, giving myself bad eye strain, and limiting my ability to study later in the day. I found that smoking a pipe got me to take a long enough break so as to be restful.I'm one of those snobby types who thought that pipes and cigars should only be lit by wooden, strike anywhere, type matches. As a chemist, I don't think it should matter (butane has no natural odor to it, and if it does, it's because someone put it in there, usually a sulfur type of compound, the same thing the heads of the matches are made of, along with red phosphorus and KCl, and Ammonium Nitrate, etc.), but it did to me. The combination of the lighter and the waxed hemp string works much, much better for pipe/cigar lighting, and you don't end up with the mess that you get from wooden matches. One thing you can say about smoking, it's a messy habit. You do away with some of that mess with this combination.I'm sure it works just fine for smoking other things too. I'm not so naive that I don't understand who the primarily target is intended to be. I was an undergraduate once upon a time. That said, I would recommend this set up for any smoking needs where you want to try and isolate the taste of the substance you're smoking. Given the amount of money that's being spent on weed now a days, you should splurge a couple of bucks on your lighter set up. I'm just saying, if you're a non-cigarette tobacco smoker, you might give this product a try. I truly was surprised at how much I liked it.

This is great all natural product! You can corner a bowl, or start a campfire with it. Great for hiking. Or frisbee golf. Don't lie. We know you disc heads are total geefers. It's naturally quite waterproof. And you can reach into deep candles or get your kindling lit exactly where you need it when building a fire. Great concept. Great execution.100% recommended.

For the price, this stuff is pretty good. My only complain is sometimes it burns really fast, especially when you tilt it. If it was slower burning it would be perfect. The flavor is nice and something I hadn’t experienced before. It definitely feels more natural than using a lighter.

Aún no lo pruebo por qué lo pedà para un regalo del 14 de febrero, pero se ve de súper buena calidad (yo ya habÃa comprado otros hilos de hemp) si creo que tenga más cera que otros que haya probado pero no es problema para mÃ, ya que me gusta enrollarlo en el encendedor, recomendado, la entrega era de importación y me llegó un dÃa antes
