Function for the F102b filters
It helps circulate the air in my combined living room and kitchen area. This filter media effortlessly removes cooking odors from the room, kitchen. For example, the smell of cigarettes, and other pet odors, the smell of feet, etc.
The filter for Febreze models that use this cartridge are unique in that they do not ionize the air in order to clean it. Dual action HEPA-Type air filters with built-in carbon pre-filter capture up to 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size.
As hepa air filter capacity is limited, after using for a period of time, the filter adsorption capacity will also decline, which will make the noise become larger and affect the purification effect .
If u own the filter replacement then these are a must have as well. Usually need to be changed when u hear the purifier getting louder than usual because its clogging up the filter. Recommended to change every 4-6 months.

After using ours for a month. I give this air purifier a 9.5/10. For the price you get good quality and excellent performance. Works excellent on auto mode and noise is low compared to other similar units I have. I recommend spending the extra cash and getting this unit. I decide to run my ultraviolet light/black light to see how much dust/pollen had collected on the outside of the filter and also on the inside. I was surprise to see very extremely little almost none that had passed thru. The outside of the filter looked like a bloody massacre. Highly recommend it you won’t regret it.

They work for months and filter out alot of allergens, you can clean them off 2 times. Depending how bad the allergens or smoke is., easy to pop in back, room smells great, the Durability is terrific.
