I grow and dry my herbs all spring and summer. Recently I started making my own spice blends from my dried herbs. I was using my coffee grinder but I didn’t feel like I fully got the coffee smell out and then the herb smell. I got the Blue Herb Spice Grinder and am very happy with it. It has rubber feet that grip the counter nicely and a nice cleaning tool. It is easy to clean up after using. I really like its capacity, too. I can do a standard spice jar full at a time. Great product.

This seems to grind herbs pretty well. I don’t know if all of these herb grinders make undesired high pitched sounds, but this one does.It’s too much trouble to return it and try a different one, hoping that the sound of another won’t be as irritating.Since I haven’t used an herb grinder before, I can’t really compare or recommend it more or less than others out there.I don’t use it particularly frequently, so I can’t speak to its durability.If you’re okay with brief moments of high pitched unpleasant sound, then I suppose this would do.However, reading reviews of other products would probably be a good idea to see if others operate more quietly.

I used this grinder to grind up my dried veggies and hot peppers! It works great! I is also amazing to grinder up fresh herbs for cooking!

It started off good and within a hour it had burnt out on me, the blade broke. Just wasn’t the quality I was expecting.

The best grinder.I'm using this to grind spices and seeds. It is above and beyond expectations.

The sound when you turn it off is horrid. It's like a high pitched rattle. It does what I need, and the metal surface inside is easy enough to clean that I will keep it. There are a couple more small downsides, the screws inside the container like to accumulate grindings which makes cleaning difficult, and the shape of the lid makes it hard to get the spice dust off. I use a tiny silicone spatula which does okay.
