I installed 2 of these speakers in my screen room. Do not expect concert sound, you simply can't get that from a speaker this size. You will not get room shaking bass, or even table shaking lol, It just doesn't happen with this size speaker. These speakers produce good sound. I keep it on a lower volume setting and can hear it sufficiently around my back yard. They will play at a high volume without distorting the sound, overall this is a good quality speaker. When you install these speakers, or any in ceiling speaker you need to install them into a box. This is very important, the sound needs to be directed downward not up into empty space. Even putting a small bucket over them will help. I made two boxes slightly larger than the speakers out of 3/4" plywood. In my case the whole ceiling was opened. I screwed the boxes to a joist, installed my shiplap ceiling, cut out the speaker hole and installed the speaker. There is an amplifier that needs to be plugged into an outlet, then speakers wires need to run to each speaker. The Bluetooth signal is great, I have the receiver/amp in the ceiling behind 1/2" wood shiplap. The signal passes through the shiplap with no issue and I can control the speakers from at least 35 feet away. Connecting is no problem, anyone can connect their phone to them as long as the speakers aren't connected to another device. These speakers are always on. If you connect you phone to listen to some music then stop listening and shut the music off your phone will stay connected to the speakers unless you remember to disconnect. So if a little later on you start watching a video on your phone it will play through the speakers because they are always on, so be careful with that. I keep an iPad in my screen room that's always connected to the speakers and we use that to control the music. This way there are no interruptions with your phone ringing or getting texts. I’ve had these for three months now and overall they are great speakers, I would highly recommend.

Installed these in a smallish bathroom. The sound is amazing. I was lucky this was an upstairs bathroom with an attic. I installed a plug in the attic and ran all wires unseen in the attic. Including the Bluetooth receiver. I have had no issues with connecting/disconnecting with everything in the ceiling. Loud enough they can be heard around the entire house when full volume. Great value for the money in my opinion. Everything you need is included.

These were awesome! Easy to install, easy to connect to Bluetooth, clear and quality sound! These are outside on a covered patio and obviously need to be waterproof. They install nearly flush to the surface giving a sleek appearance. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Installed these speakers in a shower and they work absolutely awesome. I tested them prior to installation and they lacked bass so I figured it was because they weren’t properly cased in. Sure enough once installed into the wall the sound was perfect with plenty of bass. I’ve had to reset the amplifier one time already hence the 4 star rating. Hope this won’t become an issue later on. The amplifier does appear very cheaply made though. Not sure how long it will withstand attic temperatures.If being installed in the ceiling I’d suggest making a foam box to cover the speaker with to increase your bass.

I purchased this to install in the ceiling under the eaves of the outdoor storage building that I use for grilling. It works well to connect to my Amazon Echo Flex to play tunes while I am grilling and enjoying a cool beverage. I will adding a box in the ceiling to cover the back side of the speakers and enhance the bass. Don't hesitate to purchase.

So giving them the benefit of the doubt that the speakers each really do handle the 150W capability that's printed on the side of the box, having a listing that advertises 300 Watts Bluetooth speakers is at BEST misleading, but more likely gross misrepresentation. The speakers ARE sold without the Bluetooth option, so in that case the 300 W claim would be fine. Or just saying 300 Watt power handling capability. However, what you get is a cheap little Bluetooth module and wall wart rated at 12V, 3A. 12x3 =36 Watts. 12% of the advertised 300 Watts! Of course, that's not the power the Bluetooth module generates, just the max the power supply could give it. Even if it ran the supply at full output (unlikely) and had say 80% efficiency, that would only be 28.8 W, so under a tenth of the advertised rating. Now granted I would have been very impressed to get a 300 Watt Bluetooth amp for this price, but that really doesn't excuse the bad description.Now, as far as the speakers, they look pretty nice and seem solid, although even there it feels like misdirection with a huge housing that's over 8" in diameter but only 5.25" speakers in them. I'm not sure how much all the added inductors and capacitors on the back are really doing, but they make it look impressive. The speaker wire terminals can't handle a very large gauge wire, making me question that 150 W rating, but they're ok for the thin wire they supply with it. That, in turn, is fine for the little amp they supply.As far as sound, they're pretty tinny by themselves, but to be fair they are going to rely on the chamber created by your ceiling or wall. Placing them back in their boxes to act as a housing, they aren't too bad. Hope I can get that when they're in the ceiling. While I'm not sure I can count on them filling my backyard with sound, indoors they have a decent volume with the supplied module as well. So while I don't think I'll be using these out where I want my best sound system, I might still find a smaller area for them. In all, I'd probably have given them four stars if they'd just been a little more honest with their listing.
