I am ecstatic to be able to tell you how amazing this stuff is. When ever my valves on my trumpet start to feel sticky, it only takes a few drops of this, and I could play for literally weeks. One of my valves, the first valve (the most commonly used one, for you non-trumpet players out there) stayed lubricated for an entire semester. This is partly because it is used, so it had less of a chance to dry up, but also because this valve oil is amazing. After using this, I would never use anything else.

I have a Bach Strad that I've played since like 7th grade (I'm 54 now). I've used Al Cass oil on it for virtually all of that time. In recent years, I've had issues with (especially) one of my valves getting sticky. Had it into a shop a few times, and it doesn't help over time. Finally decided to try Hetman after my son having good luck with it with his Shires trumpet which came with it. I went with the #2 because of the age of my horn (I don't think I really need the thicker #3, and #1 is probably too light). The results have been marked... the troublesome valve is virtually trouble-free now.

Really works well on my Bach 37 Stradivarius trumpet. Hetman is overall a superior choice to other valve lubricants.

I have used a wide variety of valve oils in my 60 years of playing trumpet. I have been using Hetman Synthetic for at least 5 years now. I do not have to oil the valves every day although I do like to keep my valves moving smoothly. I will continue to use for years to come.

I was having valve issues with a trumpet I have played for 34 years through college, grad school, and a very active performance and practice schedule. I took the horn in, and the repair guy who was a friend said it need the valves replated. He advised I tried switching valve oils. The first one I tried never fully worked. Hetmans #2 worked perfectly, and I can still move to #3 is my valves start giving me trouble again.

First time purchasing Hetman. The bottle cap must have been loose because there was oil around it.

Lasts and lasts. Its all I buy anymore. This is for older valves that have a few miles on them
