Wonderful gel! It goes on smoothly, cleanly and controlled, it works better than the typical paste-type gels and best of all without the mess! And like the other Hetman products this gel too is of high quality--you can see it and feel it.

Whenever I clean my horn (about once a month), I have to redo my slides. I just put this on my 1st and 3rd valve slides with just a drop or two of valve oil, and it's good until my next cleaning (unless I put on too much oil). When done right, this stuff provides a lightning fast lubricant for your slides, so you're never fighting your horn to get the slides to move. I would recommend this to any intermediate to advanced trumpet players who need maximum mobility of their slides.

The main tuning slide is not a critical application; you want it to move freely, but NOT move with normal handling. This works well.

I love this slide gel, it's high quality, and I would really recommend it for trumpet players like me that don't normally grease their slides. Mine were really dry and after using this, I haven't had to reapply it since I've put it on. (Which was about three weeks ago)

I love how Hetman's slide gel goes on the instrument smoothly and easily without being goopy. My slide gel arrived in a short amount of time, which was nice, as I needed it for my horn asap.
