Purchased for my daughter and her first born Sun.We took it to the park for a family picnic and set it up under a tree. When nap time came, both baby and mom were able to nap and rejoin the festivities after.

I read the reviews too. I know a lot of people complained about the “self inflating†feature. Upon opening the product and freeing it of its elastic bands it did begin to inflate. The suction of air was audible. After a couple of minutes it was very slow to where I realized it was either going to take forever (and I needed it now) or I had to inflate it myself. I ended up blowing into it like a regular inflatable. It’s really not that big of a deal. This mat is SO padded!!! It has a foam inside as well as the air it later gets by inflating. Don’t let the reviews steer you away. Once I blew it up and sealed the valve it was absolutely perfect and sturdy. It fits like a glove in the Regalo play pen. I’m not kidding. There are no gaps. My little one smacked his head on the floor while rolling in the playpen the other day. My play pen doesn’t have padding and the regular mat I was using was not padded enough at all. Insert this one. Please buy!! Whoever is really stuck on the fact that it does not self inflate is lazy. Blow it up and call it a day. Gosh. It’s very easy to clean up messes. Totally wipeable.I haven’t folded it back up for travel but it honestly seems as easy as opening the valve and rolling it into a burrito to release the air. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Fits perfect in the playard! Love that it self inflated! Durable and fast shipping! Good value for the money!

Purchased this to put in the bottom of our Regalo play deluxe. I knew purchasing this. It was not going to be large enough for the deluxe. We needed something soft to keep her from being straight on the ground. If baby spits up it can easily be wiped clean and doesn't seem to hold water. It works great on uneven surfaces to provide padding between baby and the ground. We do blow into it for a firmer pad but it is not bad just using the self inflator. As far as getting it folded we have not been able to figure out how to flatin it like it was when it first came.

Very easy to wipe off, about the same thickness as a yoga mat. Easy to fold and toss back into its bag, though it is a tight fit. It does not inflate so much as allows some air inside to give it a better cushion and let’s it flatten out rather than get stuck in a partially rolled form. The big thing about this feature is letting all the air OUT so you can roll it up tightly. I have used it for outside and travel and it has worked great to give my baby a good soft and clean play area regardless of the ground or flooring where we are.

Fits perfect in the playpen. It's a little pricey though

I love this playard mattress! It is so functional for my 6 month old who is just starting to crawl. I have the Summer Infant Pop 'n Play Ultimate Playard with Canopy (I never use the canopy) and hard floors in my whole house. My baby is not steady yet and easily topples over while crawling or sitting. I tried putting the playard on a rug but it still wasn’t soft enough. This mat is the best solution! It is like a thin air mattress.... soft enough to be comfy to play on but firm enough that baby can still crawl and move around. It wipes clean easily and I also discovered you can stretch a jersey knit crib sheet around it for easy clean up also. It rolls up for easy travel or storage. I highly recommend this!

Don’t get me wrong, it works fines - it fits in the tent and makes it comfortable. However, it is not something you’ll want to travel with. I opened it once and it now lives permanently opened and inflated in my basement…. I broke the bag trying to push it back inside. Looking back, I don’t think it was worth buying because I’ll really only use when the tent is inside my house - definitely won’t be bringing it elsewhere. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t buy the more expensive version, but I’m also upset I didn’t just stick with using a plush blanket.
